 This is my eldest daughter. She is an athlete, as are my other girls. Here's what she had to say about a recent experience.

"I just checked out your site...it looks great. I love it. I saw your drawing of 'UNA' (me at nine). That made me feel really special. I've done some pretty bad things to my hands recently. I have been doing my kettlebell training which rips my hands every day I train, but yesterday I was put to a challenge to crawl with a power wheel on my feet as far as I could on a football field. The longest that Jon crawled was 75 yards and since he and another guru of fitness were cheering me on, I was determined to do the best possible! The turf was as hot as 'H' and as I was crawling, my hands felt hot, but I wasn't really concentrating on that, I was really trying to beat Jon's record. So my hands kept getting hotter, but I kept getting farther. I beat Jon by five yards and stopped. I looked at my hands and the skin had melted..........literally. I received second degree burns!  Ha! I think I'll post that on your sports page."
